Dealing with changes is of great importance in today's economic situation.

The CEO of the Center of Workplace Excellence, Dan Bobinski, has 6 tips for us to efficiently deal with changes.

1° Stay engaged. Whatever work we do we should be aware that we are contributing to the greater good (society). When a change occurs we shouldn’t retreat; instead we should look for a new focus. Stay up to date with everything that happens within your organization and volunteer for special projects and commissions.
2° Look at the larger picture. Don’t just stay informed about the developments in your own organization but also look at what is happening outside: new markets, new technologies, consumer behaviour. Become a member of a professional organization, read trade magazines, surf the internet.
3° Discuss and listen. Keep in close contact with colleagues and business partners. Discover their opinions and observations and discuss how others deal with changes.
